Here I was again! Looking for a wedding gown and there was only one place for me to go in town. I flew into Birmingham and went right to Bridal Bliss Salon because of previous service there, and also because Town and Country Traveler Magazine rated Homewood as one the best values and areas to shop in the city of Birmingham. I have always liked the way Mr. Gary Walls has helped me with all my needs and wants. He now has his own fabulous designs! I can't believe brides are still going to Dianes in Jasper or other places like Davids for their gowns. David's gowns are mass produced in China in sweat shops and they fall apart... Ghastly! I know, I tried one on and it ripped like the flimsy fabric it is made from... not made for us full figured woman, I guess. Diane's still advertises gowns she has no licenses for. So she is simply breaking the law to represent these designers other bridal salons pay money to for the privilege to sell their famous named designs. It is ridiculous that shops remain in business without rights to sell the quality gowns... that is why some shops sell copies or "whipped up" designs in a backroom and they have numerous faults upon delivery. I have no such problems with Bridal Bliss. You get quality fabric and up to date styles, service unmatched at other salons where you sign your life away not to sue before you even look at a gown, or in others, you cannot even touch the gowns or even pick the one you want out. It is chosen for you... at a certain price bracket! Imagine that. Being told which gown I will wear, or I could not shop there because I wasn't up to the shop owners specs... that is dictatorial behavior and I will not abide with that... I am the one spending the money and even a Countess has to watch her money. I will not spend thousands on one dress... but rather a thousand or two, give the rest to the bride and groom for the honeymoon, or put a downpayment on their condo for them. It is just silly to through money away and society doesn't flaunt it these days... Go to Bridal Bliss and Formalwear... you will be in good hands... all you new brides and grooms. Take it from royalty.

bridal bliss: I looked at several bridal salons from Saks to Davids and Bridal Bliss had the best selection of unique quality gowns at the best prices. They do not take appointments so it can be busy at times but they will spend as much time with you as needed.

Bridal Bliss in Homewood: Bridal Bliss in Homewood, Alabama is the epitome of class, sophistication and customer service. All of these qualities are offered to each bride at VERY competitive prices. I brought in an extremely customized drawing of the dress that I wanted for my wedding. Within fifteen minutes of showing my drawing to Gary, the dress was ordered from a company that will customize patterns to the bride's request. They are the only bridal shop in the state that I was able to contact that offered this service (and believe me, I called MANY.) I received a hand-drawn design of the customized dress, personal fitting and was made to feel as though I was the only bride in Birmingham. They had my custom made dress ordered and ready to be picked up in UNDER six months!!! I got my custom wedding dress that I have wanted my whole life for the same price as many of the "off the rack" dresses you see elsewhere. The staff at Bridal Bliss even allowed me to come in forty-five minutes after the store closed.

Sarah Hal and I want to thank you so much for helping make Sarah such a gorgeous bride with your fabulous bridal gown from the Grace Kelly Collection inspired by Edith Head. Gary and Clarence were so kind to all of us and you made the purchase of her gown exciting and fun. The gown Sarah chose was very flattering and when Hal escorted her down the isle of the church you could hear the people gasp at how beautiful and breathtaking she was. Sarah looked like a real princess and an angel in every way at the very Christ oriented ceremony. Thanks again with all of our love. Nancy and Hal Wilson, parents of the bride.
